The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mathers sprawls well. Mathers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Mathers.
Mathers thuds his right hand into Gracie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Marshall Mathers decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
