Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Flintstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TheRock Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obama has chosen The Realest Sport as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Flintstone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TheRock Obama!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama misses with a takedown
letting Flintstone counter with a right hand.

Obama rushes Flintstone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Flintstone lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A body shot lands from Flintstone.
Obama is trying to drag Flintstone to the mat but Flintstone just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Obama gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Obama throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Obama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Obama trying to control but Flintstone is working from the bottom.

Flintstone keeping moving, preventing Obama from controlling successfully.

Obama in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Obama throws an elbow that misses. Flintstone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Obama's guard. Nice move by Flintstone!

Flintstone lands a couple of digs.

Obama is looking for a triangle but Flintstone pushes his legs off easily.
Obama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Flintstone drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Obama dives on top into guard.

Obama throws a big elbow that misses.
Obama controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Obama is looking to work some ground and pound but Flintstone has wrist control.
Obama throwing strikes from guard but Flintstone blocks nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Obama throws a big right hand that misses.
Obama wants to control from the top but Flintstone keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Obama has gone for a leg lock! Flintstone slips out almost immediately though and dives into Obama's guard.
Flintstone lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Flintstone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Obama has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flintstone has managed to get both his arms back between Obama's legs - danger averted.

Obama escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flintstone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Obama pulls Flintstone in to control the position.
Flintstone lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Obama has his foot on Flintstone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flintstone works his way back into a safe position though.

Flintstone is in close to Obama's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Flintstone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Obama has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Flintstone is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Obama.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Obama is working to avoid the ground and pound but Flintstone connects with a decent elbow.
Flintstone lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Obama down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Fred Flintstone will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Flintstone throws a sloppy head kick and Obama moves out of range easily.
Flintstone tries to clinch there but Obama circles away.

Flintstone rushes Obama and presses him up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Flintstone.

Obama breaks the clinch.
Flintstone tries to clinch but Obama is having none of it.
Flintstone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Obama manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Obama counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Obama is working for a submission of some sort.

Obama slips a nice elbow through Flintstone's hands, connecting with Flintstone's forehead.
Flintstone is trying to control but can't.

Obama landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Flintstone is looking to control Obama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Flintstone avoid being mounted?
Flintstone wants to improve his position but Obama is controlling well.

Flintstone is trying to stand back up but Obama is controlling him
Flintstone is refusing to be controlled, as Obama sits in half guard.

Obama is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Obama is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flintstone is just riding it out for now. Obama eventually gives up the hold.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Obama throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Flintstone to regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

TheRock Obama showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Obama shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flintstone as he jumps to the side.
Obama misses with a takedown attempt - Flintstone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Obama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Flintstone scores with a body shot.
Obama takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Flintstone instigates a clinch.

Fred Flintstone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TheRock Obama.
A nice right hand lands inside from Flintstone.
Flintstone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Obama avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Flintstone misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Obama is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Flintstone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Obama.

Flintstone's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Obama has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Flintstone after a bit of a struggle.

Obama is working for takedown but Flintstone is calmly controlling the position for now.

Obama takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Flintstone has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Obama clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Flintstone connects with a big shot to the side of Obama's head.
Flintstone is punishing Obama with strikes - can he finish him?!

Obama defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Flintstone's arms.

Obama tries to roll but Flintstone sticks to his back.

Obama is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Flintstone keeps control of the position as Obama tries to break free.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Flintstone.
Obama manages to reverse the position and now he's in Flintstone's guard. Nice work there by Obama.

Flintstone is trying to push Obama away but Obama has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

And that's the end of the fight!
Fred Flintstone showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Flintstone has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
