Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rolo Pup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nazz Smooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pup comes to the cage accompanied by Stone Cold. Smooth comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Breathe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pup has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Rolo Pup has been cut.

Smooth feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pup is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Smooth stands up and waves to Pup to follow him.

Smooth feints and as Pup raises his hands in defense, Smooth changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pup is looking for a triangle but Smooth pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smooth trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pup's guard.

Pup is working an open guard so Smooth takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Smooth wants to clinch

and Pup counters by clinching up.
Pup is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Smooth to keep the fight standing.
Pup tries to land knees in the clinch but Smooth avoids the damage to the body.
Smooth tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Pup drags the fight down to the ground.
Smooth wants to stand but Pup has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Pup looking to control.
Pup is really struggling to control Smooth but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Smooth tries to stand but Pup is controlling from the bottom.

Smooth gets to his feet - Pup follows without any prompting.
Pup misses with a body shot.
Pup takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smooth bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Smooth prevents Pup from escaping the position.
Pup is trying to control Smooth's posture but Smooth avoids it.

Smooth decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Pup. Those never looked like landing.
Nazz Smooth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pup is breathing heavily.
Pup avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Smooth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smooth works Pup's body with a nice hook.
Pup shoots in looking for a takedown but Smooth manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pup's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Smooth has Pup up against the cage in a clinch.
Smooth blocking some punches.
Smooth tries to break the clinch but Pup is controlling the position.

Smooth breaks the clinch.
Smooth throws a sloppy head kick

and Pup counters with a takedown into side control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Smooth explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Pup shoots in for a takedown but Smooth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rolo Pup. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smooth throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pup gets caught napping as Smooth dives in and scores a takedown. Pup manages to retain guard.
Pup trying to keep a closed guard but Smooth is proving a slippery customer.
Smooth wanted to stand there but Pup had control of the position.

Smooth avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Smooth stands and steps away. Pup gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Pup fails to land with a series of punches.

Oooooh!!! Smooth has knocked Pup down with a huge combo! Smooth steps away and waves a wobbly Pup back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pup is rocked!

Smooth moves into range and clinches up with Pup.
Oh Pup is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pup wants a takedown.
Smooth lands a body punch in the clinch.
Pup takes a shot to the head.

Smooth breaks from the clinch.

Smooth closes the distance and pushes Pup back into the cage.
Smooth throws a big uppercut that drops Pup! More strikes from Smooth and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Pup lies dazed against the cage as Smooth celebrates with his cornermen!
