Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norifumi Yamabotcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Law!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norifumi Yamabotcho!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law throws a combination that misses
and Yamabotcho counters with a series of strikes. Law will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Yamabotcho counters with a two punch combo.
No joy there for Yamabotcho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yamabotcho is looking to work some ground and pound but Law has wrist control.
Yamabotcho wants to get up but he can't break Law's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Yamabotcho has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Law is proving hard to escape from.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yamabotcho is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Law's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Yamabotcho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Law swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Yamabotcho closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Norifumi Yamabotcho has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
