The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A slow jab from Tomkins misses its intended target.
Murray slaps away a takedown attempt from Tomkins, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Murray throws a hook to the side of Tomkins's head but Tomkins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Tomkins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Murray's guard.

Murray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tomkins on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tomkins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Murray but Murray pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tomkins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Murray walks away with a smile on his face. Tomkins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A jab-cross combination lands for Murray and sends Tomkins crashing to the mat! Murray follows him down to the mat - Tomkins regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Tomkins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Murray just stands there and leans against the cage.
Murray lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Murray is pressed up against the cage. Tomkins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Murray down to the mat. Murray avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Murray avoids a kick to the body.
Murray lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Tomkins can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Murray and Tomkins drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Murray.
