Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sullivan's entrance music is Akira Yamaoka - Room of Angel. A fine choice. Walter Sullivan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Archer!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan connects with a solid leg kick.
Archer scoring well with a low kick there.
Sullivan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Archer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sullivan thows a body shot but no joy.

Archer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sullivan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Archer manages to get himself to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Archer wants to control but Sullivan is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Walter Sullivan will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sullivan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sullivan wants it to stay on the feet.

and Sullivan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Archer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sullivan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sullivan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Archer's guard.

Archer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sullivan tries to avoid it but Archer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sullivan to the ground. Sullivan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
