The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asslicksander Femelianenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Peterson moves out of range as Femelianenko strikes.
Femelianenko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Peterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Peterson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Asslicksander Femelianenko has been cut.

Peterson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Femelianenko.

Femelianenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Femelianenko throws a shot from downtown. Peterson moves away and avoids it.
Peterson is looking to wear down Femelianenko with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Peterson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Femelianenko is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Femelianenko might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Peterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Femelianenko manages to avoid it.
Femelianenko feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Peterson sprawling to the canvas! Peterson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Femelianenko finish him?!


Peterson is rocked!
Femelianenko fakes the body blow, causing Peterson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Peterson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
