Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Mirinda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Percy Poe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mirinda.
Mirinda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mirinda drives through with a takedown into Poe's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Poe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mirinda defends well.

Poe has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mirinda is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Poe.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A close round but Percy Poe will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mirinda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Mirinda is pressed up against the cage. Poe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mirinda down to the mat. Mirinda avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mirinda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mirinda shoots in and bounces Poe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Mirinda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mirinda has managed to get both his arms back between Poe's legs - danger averted.
Mirinda is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Poe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mirinda defends it easily.

Poe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mirinda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Poe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mirinda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mirinda manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
