Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hi my name is. Jon Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Cage!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cage counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Cage counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cage slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Cage throws an elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cage's guard. Nice move by Jones!
Cage tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Cage was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cage paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cage counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cage shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cage showed some decent athleticism there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jones trying to control from the bottom.
Cage looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cage working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Cage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Cage lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jones! More strikes land and this one is all over! Cage jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

After winning the bout, Jack Cage thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
