Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zica Brava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brava kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chimaira - Nothing Remains. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brava cracks St Pierre with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Felix St Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
St Pierre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brava throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brava.
Brava digs a good body shot into St Pierre's ribs.
Brava throws a head kick that misses.
St Pierre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Brava throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent St Pierre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Brava scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice sprawl there from Brava as St Pierre shoots in.
Brava misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
St Pierre throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as St Pierre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brava is trying to keep St Pierre in close.
Brava wants to get back to his feet but St Pierre is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
St Pierre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brava swivels though and keeps the full guard.
St Pierre in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Brava bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in St Pierre's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brava wants to stand but St Pierre has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

St Pierre is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brava is aware though and is defending well.

St Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brava can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

St Pierre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brava gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

St Pierre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brava defends well.

St Pierre quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Brava has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
