Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Murth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Fonzarelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murth comes to the cage accompanied by Enemy. Fonzarelli has chosen Eminem - When I'm Gone as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Fonzarelli!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fonzarelli has taken the fight to the clinch.
Murth on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Fonzarelli pulls guard.

Fonzarelli looking for a guillotine here but Murth defends easily.
Murth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fonzarelli works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Murth stops Fonzarelli from standing up.

Fonzarelli is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Murth stands up over Fonzarelli, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Murth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Murth forces his way into half guard.
Murth takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Murth landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Murth chips away with some ground and pound.
Murth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fonzarelli's head.
Murth is looking to work some ground and pound but Fonzarelli has wrist control.
Murth is working Fonzarelli over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Murth wants to control from the top but Fonzarelli keeps moving.

Fonzarelli has his foot on Murth's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murth works his way back into a safe position though.
Murth is looking to work some ground and pound but Fonzarelli has wrist control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Murth's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Fonzarelli trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Murth got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fonzarelli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murth has managed to get both his arms back between Fonzarelli's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Murth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fonzarelli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fonzarelli is posturing up here but Murth has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fonzarelli tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fonzarelli has to tap! Slick submission there by Murth!

A very excited looking Adam Murth made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
