The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badass closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Badass looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Brandon kicks off Badass and gets to his feet.

Brandon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brandon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Badass has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Badass and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Brandon wants to get up but he can't break Badass's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
