Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaydub Spliffenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Meeoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spliffenberger kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Roll 'em Up. The crowd seem to be enjoying Meeoff's choice of entrance music: bawitaba. Jack Meeoff acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaydub Spliffenberger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack Meeoff!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meeoff shoots in and drives through. Spliffenberger sprawls well.
Spliffenberger steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Meeoff. That one must have hurt.
Meeoff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Spliffenberger avoids it really well and circles away.
Meeoff drops his hands momentarily and Spliffenberger takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Meeoff checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Spliffenberger tries to work over Meeoff's front leg with a kick but Meeoff checks it.
A combination from Meeoff does no damage.
Jack Meeoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meeoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spliffenberger tries to avoid it but Meeoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spliffenberger to the ground. Spliffenberger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jaydub Spliffenberger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Meeoff.

Meeoff manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Spliffenberger on his heels. He'll look to pass Spliffenberger's guard now, I'm sure.

Spliffenberger has his foot on Meeoff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Meeoff works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Meeoff postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Spliffenberger is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Meeoff, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
