The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Guila is trying to defend but Madison finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Guila is refusing to be controlled, as Madison sits in half guard.
Madison scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Madison looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Guila with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Guila won't allow Madison to pass to mount.

Madison thows a huge punch but Guila dodges it nicely.
Guila trying to hold on to Madison's head to control him but Madison postures up.

Madison works his foot free and advances to mount.
Guila tries to lock up and control but Madison gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Madison postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Guila bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Madison and the fight is over!
