Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bane comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Skunk blues. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kiedis's choice of entrance music: Tupac. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Bane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Kiedis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiedis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bane tries a low kick but Kiedis avoids it.
Bane walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kiedis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kiedis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kiedis, right into the meat.
Bane scores with a kick to the body.
Bane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kiedis counters with a nice kick to the body.
Bane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kiedis throws a sloppy head kick and Bane moves out of range easily.
Bane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bane fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kiedis to the ground. Bane is now in Kiedis's guard.
Kiedis is looking to stand up but Bane isn't so interested in that idea.
Bane wants to control from the top but Kiedis keeps moving.
Kiedis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bane looking to sit in guard and control but Kiedis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kiedis throws a big right hand that misses.
Kiedis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bane is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bane thows a leg kick but Kiedis checks it
and Kiedis counters with a nice body kick.
Bane throws a leg kick but Kiedis sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bane throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kiedis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Xavier Bane has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bane throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kiedis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bane throws a lazy right hand but Kiedis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bane shoots in looking for a takedown but Kiedis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bane throws a head kick that misses
and Kiedis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bane's knee momentarily.
Kiedis cracks the inside of Bane's front leg.
Bane is breathing heavily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kiedis.
Bane misses with an uppercut. Kiedis saw that one coming.
Bane tries a low kick but Kiedis avoids it.
Kiedis takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Bane misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kiedis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kiedis thuds his shin into the meat of Bane's side.
Kiedis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kiedis tries to throw a body punch but Bane avoids it by throwing Kiedis back against the cage.
Kiedis scores with a hook to the body.
Kiedis stalling in the clinch.
Kiedis misses with the head strike.
Bane is working for takedown but Kiedis is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kiedis is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kiedis swings wildly with an uppercut but Bane uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kiedis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kiedis lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kiedis works on Bane's body with a couple of short punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kiedis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bane backwards.
Bane drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kiedis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xavier Bane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bane drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kiedis is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Kiedis dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bane throws a combination that misses
and Kiedis counters with a nice uppercut.

Kiedis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kiedis goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bane is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bane throws a head kick but Kiedis moves out of range.
Johnny Kiedis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bane takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kiedis cracks a nice hook into Bane's ribs.
Bane throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bane misses the jab.
Bane takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Oh Bane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Xavier Bane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kiedis throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Bane crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Johnny Kiedis!
