Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brad Pound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ideluca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ideluca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ideluca tries for a takedown but Pound circles away easily
and Pound counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ideluca working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pound.
Pound lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pound working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ideluca's head.
Pound chips away with some ground and pound.
Ideluca wants to sweep here but Pound controlling him for the moment.
Pound with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pound throws a big elbow that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pound throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ideluca works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pound has gone for a leg lock! Ideluca slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pound's guard.
Ideluca stops Pound from standing up.

Pound keeping moving, preventing Ideluca from controlling successfully.
Ideluca tries to free his leg and advance position but Pound is retaining full guard.

Pound manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ideluca manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pound accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pound throwing strikes from guard but Ideluca blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pound content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Ideluca wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Ideluca looking for a sweep. Not yet Ideluca, not yet.
Ideluca is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pound scoring with some ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pound loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Pound working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ideluca's head.
Pound has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ideluca wants to stand up but Pound is controlling him.
Ideluca wants to sweep but no luck.
Pound scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ideluca is on top in guard.
Pound tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ideluca is looking to stand up but Pound won't let him.

Pound is looking to sweep but instead, Ideluca has passed into half guard.
Pound has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ideluca is working away from the top position though.

Ideluca wants to take a breather but Pound is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ideluca rushes Pound and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Pound dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ideluca shoots in looking for a takedown but Pound manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ideluca's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck for Ideluca with that takedown attempt.
Alex Ideluca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ideluca darts in and clinches Pound up against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Pound.
Ideluca tries to pull guard but Pound won't allow it.
Brad Pound has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Ideluca.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Ideluca tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ideluca has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pound avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ideluca misses with an elbow strike.
Pound goes for a takedown attempt but Ideluca pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Ideluca moves into the clinch.

Ideluca is trying to drag Pound to the mat but Pound just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Pound stalls.
Ideluca has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ideluca has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pound after a bit of a struggle.
Ideluca is trying to break free.
Ideluca displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pound up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ideluca tries to pull guard but Pound forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ideluca tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pound smiles and moves away.
Pound looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ideluca is breathing heavily.
Pound working the head and body with strikes.
Ideluca is not content to let Pound control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pound seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Pound working Ideluca over with strikes.
Ideluca is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pound scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pound connects with a nice short shot to Ideluca's temple.
Ideluca is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pound is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Ideluca is hurt! He's hurt bad - Pound fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Ideluca from any more punishment! Congratulations to Pound! Great finish!
