Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wand Mallone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabs Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallone stuffs the takedown attempt from Nunes. Nunes gets slowly back to his feet.

Mallone moves into the clinch successfully.

Nunes has Mallone pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nunes pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mallone tumbling to the mat - Nunes dives into Mallone's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mallone is desperately trying to improve his position but Nunes has a good base and remains in mount.

Mallone tries to lock up and control but Nunes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nunes lands with some strikes.

Nunes has hold of Mallone's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mallone manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nunes has control of Mallone's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mallone regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Mallone wants to hold on but Nunes pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mallone manages to regain half guard. Good work.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nunes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mallone to the mat! Mallone manages to get full guard.

Nunes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Mallone has left one of his arms exposed and Nunes doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mallone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
