Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Preuss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Indrid Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexandre Preuss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Indrid Cold!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cold throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Preuss's waist but Preuss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cold off to one side.
Cold scores with a head kick. Preuss tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That kick from Cold tenderised Preuss's leg. Preuss is trying to keep his angry face on.
Cold looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Indrid Cold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cold closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cold tries to land knees in the clinch but Preuss avoids the damage to the body.
Cold with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Preuss blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Preuss is trying to break the clinch but Cold has him pressed against the cage.

Preuss looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Cold misses with an elbow strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cold keeps control of Preuss as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Cold tries to land knees in the clinch but Preuss avoids the damage to the body.

Cold breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cold wants to clinch.

Preuss looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Preuss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cold is looking to clinch.
Preuss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cold.
Preuss throws a one two combo.
Preuss looks to land a combination but Cold avoids it well.
Cold is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Preuss.
Preuss rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cold moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Preuss lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cold circles away quickly and effectively.
Preuss throws a right hand that Cold ducks under and follows up with a left that Cold also avoids with ease.

Cold clinches up against the cage.
Preuss wants to get back to striking at distance but Cold won't allow it.
Preuss takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Alexandre Preuss has been cut.
Preuss tries to break free but Cold pushes him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Preuss's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Preuss takes an elbow to the forehead.
Preuss being controlled against the cage.
Preuss avoiding damage as Cold throws knees to the body.
Cold is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Preuss wants to get back to striking at distance but Cold won't allow it.

Cold pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cold closes the distance and clinches up with Preuss, looking for a takedown. Cold pushes Preuss against the cage but Preuss circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Alexandre Preuss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Indrid Cold.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cold throws a nice inside leg kick.
Cold lands with a slapping head kick.
Cold misses with a two punch combination.
Preuss keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cold.

Preuss swats away the attempt to clinch by Cold.

Cold has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cold throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Preuss blocks it with crossed arms.

Cold pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice shot lands for Preuss.
Preuss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cold goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Preuss is rocked!

Cold moves into the clinch.
Oh Preuss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cold lands a big knee to the head and Preuss goes down! Cold pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Indrid Cold!
