The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rude misses with a head kick.
Rude takes a swing at Nagasumi's ribcage but misses.
Rude looks to land a left hand but Nagasumi moved out of range nicely.
Nagasumi avoids the head kick by Rude.
Nagasumi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rude throws a nice looking combination but Nagasumi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rude misses with a body shot.
Rude throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nagasumi shoots in but no luck this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Rude! Nagasumi is out on his feet! Rude rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Nagasumi is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Nagasumi is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
