The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Volkov drives through and clinches with Coon against the cage.
Coon is trying to break the clinch but Volkov has him pressed against the cage.

Volkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Volkov rushes Coon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Volkov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Coon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No joy there for Volkov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Volkov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coon to the mat! Coon manages to get full guard.
Volkov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coon's guard.
Volkov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Let's hope that Volkov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Igor Volkov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Volkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Coon sprawls well. He's pushed Volkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
