Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koxacynek Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy Striker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Striker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koxacynek Rage!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rage darts in and clinches Striker up against the cage.
Striker displaying some good clinch control by pressing Rage up against the cage.
Rage is trying to force a seperation but Striker has the dominant position.

Rage ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rage no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rage looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Striker is stalling in the full guard.
Rage is pulling down on Striker's head. It's preventing any offense from Striker, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rage wants to sweep but no luck.

Rage looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Striker wants to control from the top but Rage keeps moving.
Striker being controlled here momentarily.
Rage is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Striker is controlling him.

Rage tries to work over Striker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Striker tries for a takedown. No joy.

Striker has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rage uses from the top position.

Rage stands up and waves to Striker to follow him.

Striker keeping moving, preventing Rage from controlling successfully.
Striker pulls Rage in to control the position.
Striker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rage is one step ahead there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Striker is trying to control the position but Rage postures up.

Rage closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rage slips a nice elbow through Striker's hands, connecting with Striker's forehead.
Rage moves into full mount! Striker won't be happy about that!

Striker is squirming around, avoiding Rage's attempts to control the action.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Koxacynek Rage has got the better of the ground game so far.

Striker is looking to improve his position but Rage isn't that keen on the idea.
Striker wants to hold on but Rage pushes him away.
Striker is wriggling around trying to escape.

Rage is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Striker is surviving well by controlling Rage's body position as best he can.
Rage controlling the pace for now.
Striker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Striker tries to get out of the position.

Striker is wriggling around trying to escape.
Striker is trying to escape the mount but Rage keeps good control and instead manages to take Striker's back.
Rage scores with punches from the back.
Striker trying to control the hands but Rage won't let him.

Rage has good solid back control here.
Striker tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Striker tries to reverse the position but Rage maintains control.
Rage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Striker tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rage content just to control the position here.

Striker is trying desperately to improve position.
A nice elbow there by Rage.
Rage lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Striker wants to hold on but Rage pushes him away.
Striker is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Striker is desperately trying to improve his position but Rage has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Koxacynek Rage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Striker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rage gets the takedown into side control.
Striker is looking for a sweep.
Rage is looking to take a break and control but Striker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rage lands a decent elbow from side control.

Rage decides to stand up, so the ref orders Striker to his feet.
Striker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Striker darts in and clinches Rage up against the cage.

Striker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Striker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rage was covering up waiting for the punch and Striker finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Striker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Striker trying to control but Rage is working from the bottom.

Rage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rage is working an open guard so Striker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Striker feints and then cracks Rage's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rage down.
Jeremy Striker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rage takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Striker slips a straight right by Rage.
Rage throws a sloppy head kick and Striker moves out of range easily.
Striker lands with a good body shot.
Striker throws a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Striker wants to clinch but Rage slips to the side

and Rage moves into the clinch.

Striker breaks the clinch.
Rage throws a poor cross that misses

and Striker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Striker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rage is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Striker breaks the clinch.
Striker tries to clinch up but Rage circles away and keeps his distance.
Striker shoots in but no luck this time.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Striker is defended easily by Rage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Striker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Striker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Striker feints and as Rage raises his hands in defense, Striker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Striker wants to stand but Rage is controlling his posture from full guard.
Striker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rage pulls Striker in to control the position.

Striker gets to his feet. Rage looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Striker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Rage gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Striker tries to get to full guard but Rage has control of the leg.
Rage is keen to just control but Striker is a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rage is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Striker defends it well.
Striker works his way to full guard. Good work.

And that's the end of the fight!
