Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Bigjones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bigjones fails with a takedown attempt.
Cole throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bigjones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cole counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bigjones misses with a looping left.
Cole lands with a good body shot.

Cole has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cole gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bigjones.

and Cole counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cole is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bigjones sees it coming and defends easily.
Cole is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Cole cracks Bigjones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Cole is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bigjones is surviving well by controlling Cole's body position as best he can.

Cole is persistently looking for the submission but Bigjones is defending it well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Cole counters with a three punch combo that has Bigjones backing up. Bigjones nods at Cole to acknowledge the strikes.
Bigjones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cole circles away quickly and effectively.
Bigjones tries to bum rush Cole with a series of wild strikes but Cole uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bigjones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bigjones throws a head kick but Cole moves out of range.

and Cole counters with a one-two to the body.
Bigjones is rocked!
Cole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bigjones.
Bigjones is still on wobbly legs! Can Cole finish him?
Bigjones fails to land with a series of punches.
Bigjones has a takedown stuffed.
Sloppy strikes from Cole. Those never looked like landing.
Cole gets a clinch.
Bigjones is breathing heavily.
Cole escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cole drives through and clinches with Bigjones against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cole breaks from the clinch.
Bigjones seems to have recovered his senses.
Bigjones stuns Cole with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Bigjones looks to land a combination but Cole avoids it well.

and Cole counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cole stuffs the takedown attempt from Bigjones. Bigjones gets slowly back to his feet.
