The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akonte is trying hard to land a takedown here. Evans sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Evans.
Akonte moves in looking to clinch but Evans pushes him off.
Evans avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Akonte goes for a takedown in the clinch but Evans prevents it.
