The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross blocks a head kick by Bourne.
Ross moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ross shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bourne pinned against the cage. Bourne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bourne scores with a takedown into Ross's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ross wants to sweep here but Bourne controlling him for the moment.
Bourne wants to control from the top but Ross keeps moving.
Bourne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ross swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bourne not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Billie Bourne has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Bourne misses the target.
Bourne wants to clinch
letting Ross counter with a right hand.
Ross tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bourne swivels and escapes.
Bourne misses with a wild combination.
Bourne scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Jeremy Ross has been cut.
Ross tries to clinch there but Bourne circles away.

Ross is looking to clinch but Bourne is avoiding it.

Bourne darts in and clinches Ross up against the cage.
Ross lands a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ross breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ross fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Billie Bourne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Ross.

Bourne decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
