Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Roastbeef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Kauffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Roastbeef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Kauffman!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kauffman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnny Roastbeef seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roastbeef checks a leg kick.
Roastbeef shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kauffman defends it nicely.
Kauffman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Roastbeef is able to avoid easily.
Roastbeef misses with a right hand
and Kauffman counters with a thumping low kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kauffman. Roastbeef does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kauffman takes one to the side of the head.

Roastbeef dives in and grabs Kauffman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kauffman pushes down on Roastbeef's head and hops out.
No joy there for Kauffman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Roastbeef throws a right hand that Kauffman ducks under and follows up with a left that Kauffman also avoids with ease.
Roastbeef misses with a takedown attempt - Kauffman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Roastbeef. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kauffman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roastbeef circles away quickly and effectively.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roastbeef takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kauffman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Roastbeef counters with a lovely straight right hand!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kauffman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slow jab from Roastbeef misses its intended target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Kauffman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Roastbeef tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kauffman swivels and escapes.

Kauffman loads up on a big right hand but Roastbeef slips the punch.

Kauffman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Roastbeef won't allow Kauffman to sweep him here.
Kauffman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roastbeef accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Roastbeef has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Roastbeef drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kauffman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Roastbeef has Kauffman in his guard.

Kauffman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Roastbeef manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kauffman lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Roastbeef seems to be looking for submissions.

Kauffman is staying active underneath Roastbeef, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Roastbeef is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kauffman tries to roll over but Roastbeef keeps him under control.

Kauffman feints a jab promting Roastbeef to slip. Kauffman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Roastbeef slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kauffman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kauffman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roastbeef moves away.

Roastbeef feints and as Kauffman raises his hands in defense, Roastbeef changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roastbeef wants to pass the guard but Kauffman is keeping the position.
Kauffman is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
