Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Louey Draft!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Hades!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draft uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hades.
Hades connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hades misses with a hook.
Hades lands the left hand.
Draft tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hades manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Draft.
A combination from Hades does no damage.
Sam Hades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Draft defending well as Hades loads up on a big left hand.
Hades tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Draft manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Draft closes the distance and clinches up with Hades, looking for a takedown. Draft pushes Hades against the cage but Hades circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Draft fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hades manages to avoid it.
Hades fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hades finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Draft fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Louey Draft. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Draft is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Draft stuffs the takedown attempt from Hades. Hades gets slowly back to his feet.

Hades misses with a straight left.

Hades swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hades feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Drafts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hades avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Draft takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hades jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hades misses with an uppercut. Draft saw that one coming.
Hades leaves Draft with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hades fails to land with a series of punches.
Hades lands an overhand right.
Hades throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Draft takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hades keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Draft.
Hades moves into the clinch successfully.
Hades manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Draft makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Draft wants to control from the top but Hades keeps moving.
Hades is trying to control the position but Draft postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Draft trying to control but Hades is working from the bottom.
Hades trying to keep a closed guard but Draft is proving a slippery customer.
Hades wants to sweep here but Draft controlling him for the moment.
Draft passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Draft wants to control but Hades is keeping him busy.

Hades tries to bench press Draft off him but Draft keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hades wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Draft is looking to take a break and control but Hades is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Draft in side control, throwing shots but Hades defends.
Hades gets back to half guard.
Hades is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Draft lands a heavy elbow.

Draft scoring with strikes but Hades is staying in there.
Draft has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Draft lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Hades is trying desperately to improve position.
Draft postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Hades is out cold - huge knockout for Draft!
