Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erick Murphy struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tits tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Murphy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tits looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Murphy is fending him off so far but Tits persists. Nope, Murphy circles away and we're back to standing.
Tits shoots in and bounces Murphy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Tits wants to control from the top but Murphy keeps moving.
Tits tries to free his leg and advance position but Murphy is retaining full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tits accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tits is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Murphy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tits.

Tits is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Murphy is just riding it out for now. Tits eventually gives up the hold.

Tits working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Murphy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Murphy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Murphy is looking to work some ground and pound but Tits has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tits had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Murphy defends it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murphy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tits gets a double leg takedown into Murphy's guard.
Tony Tits overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Murphy pushes Tits off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Tits displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Murphy throws out the jab.

Murphy cracks Tits with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Murphy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tits to stand back up!
Oh Tits is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tits walks straight into a right hand from Murphy - that's dropped him! Murphy jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tits from any more punishment! Tits complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
