Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn McKoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Mckethan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKoy misses with a combination
and Mckethan counters with a series of strikes. McKoy will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mckethan scores with a shot to the body.
Mckethan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McKoy.
Mckethan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McKoy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mckethan sprawls well. Mckethan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McKoy gets slowly back to his feet.
McKoy looks to land a combination but Mckethan avoids it well.

McKoy darts in and clinches Mckethan up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

McKoy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mckethan regains guard immediately.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McKoy is pushing down on Mckethan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mckethan is fighting to maintain full guard but McKoy has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McKoy prevents Mckethan from improving his position.
McKoy is controlling the pace.
Mckethan looks like he's trying to stand up.

Mckethan moves into full guard.
Mckethan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McKoy controls the pace.
McKoy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mckethan on the ground.
McKoy is pushing down on Mckethan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mckethan is fighting to maintain full guard but McKoy has managed to sneak the leg through.

McKoy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Mckethan to get to his feet.

McKoy shoots in for a double leg but Mckethan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mckethan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
McKoy is breathing heavily.
Mckethan scores with the left hand. McKoy knows he should have avoided that one.
McKoy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mckethan defends it nicely.

McKoy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mckethan punishes McKoy's body with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mckethan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mckethan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vaughn McKoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mckethan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jayden Mckethan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McKoy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McKoy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Mckethan to counter with a crisp jab.
McKoy takes a shot right to the bread basket.
McKoy shoots for a double leg takedown but Mckethan sprawls well. He's pushed McKoy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mckethan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mckethan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down McKoy rather than just go for the knockout.
Mckethan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

McKoy is rocked!
Jayden Mckethan seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mckethan lands a nice shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mckethan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McKoy on the side of the head.
Oh McKoy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mckethan wobbles McKoy with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Mckethan dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts McKoy to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
