Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burza has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Burza enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathan Bowman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Burza!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman fails to land the takedown.
Burza avoids a kick to the body.

Burza closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bowman quickly recovers to half guard.

Bowman has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Burza escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Burza!

John Burza has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Bowman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Burza manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bowman has Burza in his guard.

Bowman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that Nathan Bowman will probably get the nod.

Bowman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Burza can't fight it off and eventually Bowman manages to take the fight to the floor. Burza looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bowman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Burza is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bowman is controlling him.

Burza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bowman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bowman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Burza is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Burza has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close second round but I would say that Nathan Bowman will probably get the nod.

Bowman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bowman somewhat.

Burza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bowman closes the distance and pushes Burza back into the cage.

John Burza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bowman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
