The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desert misses with the combination.
Desert wants to clinch.

Guey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Guey uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Desert has time to react.
Desert closes the distance and clinches.

Desert tries to break free but Guey pushes him back against the cage.

Guey tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Guey lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Desert backwards.
Guey blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Guey swings wildly with an uppercut but Desert uses good head movement to avoid it.
Guey lands a right hand.
Desert throws a knee to the head but misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Guey misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Guey digs a right hand underneath Desert's ribcage. Desert let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Desert is breathing heavily.

Guey drops Desert onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Desert is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Oh Desert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Guey.
Guey creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Desert with a big uppercut! Desert tries to clinch up but Guey pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Desert to the mat! Desert covers up and Guey unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Simon Guey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
