The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone shoots in and drives through. Steedman sprawls well.
Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steedman as he jumps to the side.
Stone shoots in for a double leg but Steedman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Miles Steedman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Stone.
Steedman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Steedman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Steedman has control of Stone's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stone regains control of the situation pretty easily.
