The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rostowski has his takedown stuffed
and Van Der Moot counters with a left and a right that stings Rostowski.
Rostowski dives in and grabs Van Der Moot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Der Moot pushes down on Rostowski's head and hops out.
Rostowski takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rostowski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Van Der Moot fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rostowski misses with a takedown attempt
and Van Der Moot makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrzej Rostowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rostowski is breathing heavily.
Rostowski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Van Der Moot connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rostowski scrambles back to his feet.
Van Der Moot throws a right and a left that both miss.
Van Der Moot thuds a left hand into Rostowski's body.
Van Der Moot throws an overhand right that drops Rostowski like a sack of potatoes! Van Der Moot dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
