Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liu Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoran Lippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lippo has chosen Lordi, Hard rock hallelujah as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Liu Kang has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Liu Kang seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kang closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lippo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kang pulls his head out easily.
Kang tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Lippo tries to roll over but Kang keeps him under control.
Lippo is trying to stand back up but Kang is controlling him

Lippo looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lippo controlling the position well.
Lippo wants to get back to his feet.

Kang perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Lippo tries to roll over but Kang keeps him under control.
Kang takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lippo kicks Kang off and gets back to his feet.
Liu Kang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lippo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kang sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lippo closes the distance and clinches.

Kang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kang is looking to stand up but Lippo won't let him.

Kang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kang tries to free his leg and advance position but Lippo is retaining full guard.
Lippo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kang 's guard.
Kang is striking but Lippo is not phased and passes to half guard.
Kang is staying active underneath Lippo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lippo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kang has managed to free his arm - good work.

Lippo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lippo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Kang wants to improve his position but Lippo is controlling well.
Lippo passes the guard and advances to mount!
Lippo won't let Kang get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Kang can't escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lippo takes Kang 's back.

Lippo working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Kang is doing well to defend. Lippo seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Kang is forced to tap and this one is over!
