Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Gaston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sound of Maddness from Shinedown. Blake Perry had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Perry takes one on the button.

It looks like Blake Perry has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Perry looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gaston wants to get back to his feet but Perry is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Perry has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gaston is proving hard to escape from.
Gaston keeping moving, preventing Perry from controlling successfully.
Perry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gaston swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gaston wants to stand up but Perry is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaston is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Perry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Perry gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Perry jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gaston walks away with a smile on his face. Perry gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gaston moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gaston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Perry on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Perry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Perry is breathing heavily.

BAM! Gaston delivers a spinning backfist that drops Perry like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
