The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields tries to clinch up
and Vemola counters with a takedown into side control.
Shields regains half guard.
Vemola works his foot free and advances to mount.
Vemola working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Shields is bucking up trying to escape but Vemola cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Shields is rocked!
Vemola softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Shields is out cold! Vemola jumps to his feet and celebrates on the ropes with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
