The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rig drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Randleman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rig's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Randleman manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Randleman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rig is aware though and is defending well.
Rig wants to stand but Randleman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Randleman controls Rig momentarily but Rig frees himself.

Randleman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rig wants to get back to his feet.

Randleman has control of Rig's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rig regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Rig's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
