The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong tries to keep at a distance but Cataan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cataan with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Dong goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cataan prevents it.

Cataan pushes off an throws an elbow but Dong leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Cataan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Dong lands a nice shot that snaps Cataan's head back.

Dong tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cataan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Cataan is pressed up against the cage. Dong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cataan down to the mat. Cataan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Alonzo Cataan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Massif Dong.
