Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osgar MacGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herzog's entrance music is Takida - Curly Sue. A fine choice. MacGregor has chosen Scotland The Brave (Leonidas) as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacGregor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Herzog moves out of range of the strikes.
MacGregor throws a series of punches but Herzog moves out of range.
Herzog throws a push kick but MacGregor slaps the foot to one side.
MacGregor feints and then cracks Herzog's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Herzog down.

Herzog seems to be working for a kimura but MacGregor defends the submission attempt.

MacGregor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Herzog has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, MacGregor has managed to get both his arms back between Herzog's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Herzog will probably get the nod.

MacGregor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well MacGregor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
