Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between peter Tremain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitri Makhnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dimitri Makhnov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, peter Tremain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimitri Makhnov!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Tremain misses.
Tremain throws a head kick but Makhnov moves out of range.

Tremain closes the distance and pushes Makhnov back into the cage.
Tremain tries to pull guard but Makhnov won't allow it.
Tremain stalling in the clinch.
Tremain goes for a takedown in the clinch but Makhnov prevents it.
Makhnov has Tremain pushed against the cage.
Tremain's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Makhnov is pressed up against the cage. Tremain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Makhnov down to the mat. Makhnov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for peter Tremain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Makhnov misses with a two punch combination.
Tremain shoots for a double leg takedown but Makhnov sprawls well. He's pushed Tremain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Makhnov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Tremain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Makhnov won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Makhnov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Tremain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Tremain is looking to take a break and control but Makhnov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Makhnov has one of Tremain's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Makhnov is looking for a sweep.

Tremain lands a nice forearm strike.
Makhnov tries to bench press Tremain off him but Tremain keeps the position.

Tremain tries for a kimura but Makhnov is defending well.
Tremain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Makhnov keeps working.
Tremain is chipping away with strikes.

Tremain looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Makhnov is avoiding damage well.

Tremain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Makhnov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tremain but great work by Makhnov.
Tremain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tremain is looking to reverse the position.
Tremain wants to control but Makhnov postures up.
Makhnov cracks Tremain with a big elbow.
Tremain manages to work his way to half guard, despite Makhnov's best efforts.

Makhnov seems to be looking for submissions.

Makhnov is trying to control the action in half guard but Tremain is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Tremain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tremain won't allow Makhnov to pass to mount.
Makhnov is looking to take a break and control but Tremain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tremain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Makhnov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Makhnov's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Makhnov is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Tremain is looking to control Makhnov but Makhnov is wriggling around and keeping busy.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tremain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Makhnov circles away quickly and effectively.
Tremain is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Makhnov slips under a jab.
Tremain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Makhnov as he jumps to the side.
Makhnov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tremain. Tremain circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tremain takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Makhnov misses with a wild combination.
Makhnov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Tremain closes the distance and clinches.
Tremain is looking to take this one to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makhnov tries a knee to the head but Tremain blocks it.

Tremain seems to be working for a kimura but Makhnov defends the submission attempt.

Makhnov is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Tremain jumps into side control!

Tremain sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Makhnov taps out!
