The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fassbender misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Malone lands with an overhand left.
Malone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fassbender looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sloppy strikes from Malone. Those never looked like landing.
Fassbender tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Malone paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fassbender is defended easily by Malone.
Malone fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Fassbender to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Fassbender looks to clinch but Malone throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Fassbender taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

A less than humble Josh Malone misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
