Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bakker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Bakker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vincent Cole!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakker dives in and grabs Cole's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cole pushes down on Bakker's head and hops out.
Cole swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bakker clinches with his opponent.
Cole turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cole manages to end up in side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cole fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bakker manages to get back to half guard.
Cole prevents Bakker from standing back up.
Cole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bakker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bakker manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Cole postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cole is pushing down on Bakker's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bakker is fighting to maintain full guard but Cole has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bakker is looking to control Cole's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bakker avoid being mounted?
Cole takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cole is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Cole not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bakker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cole scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bakker kicks Cole off and gets back to his feet.
Cole just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bakker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bakker lands in his opponent's guard.
Cole preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bakker connects with a couple of short punches.
Bakker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bakker staying calm.
Bakker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cole knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bakker working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Bakker is chipping away with strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cole is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Bakker remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Cole is looking to get back to his feet here but Bakker is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cole's back.

Cole covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Bakker lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bakker is cranking Cole's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Cole! He's tightened the choke and Cole is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bob Bakker!
