The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie forces Isildor back against the cage and clinches.

Isildor blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Isildor trying to control the position but instead, Gracie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Isildor into the cage.
Gracie lands with a light punch inside.
Gracie tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Isildor's elbow.

Isildor just leaning against Gracie, taking a breather.
Gracie misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gracie throws a punch but it's blocked by Isildor.
Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Isildor avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Gracie wants to take the fight to the mat but Isildor manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Gracie lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Isildor backwards.

Isildor lands an elbow that stopped Gracie in his tracks for a moment.

Gracie is trying to control. Isildor wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. Isildor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Isildor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gracie looking to secure an arm triangle but Isildor defends it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Isildor can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gracie wants to control the pace but Isildor is squirming around nicely.
Isildor is trying desperately to improve position.
Isildor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Isildor has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Isildor!

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Isildor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Isildor rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Isildor is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
