The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson misses the shot to the body.
Hart missing with a left hand there. Brunson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brunson manages to avoid it.
Bret Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brunson throws a big shot that misses.
Hart moves out of range as Brunson strikes.
Hart ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Brunson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brunson. Hart does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hart lands a body shot.
Hart misses with a low kick.
Brunson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hart thows a left - swing and a miss!
Brunson thows a body shot but no joy.
Brunson ducks under a wild hook from Hart.
Brunson lands a jab to Hart's midsection.
Hart throws the left hand but Brunson avoids the punch easily.
Hart connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Brunson to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Hart!

A relieved looking Bret Hart thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
