Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Deridder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Hise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hise has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. Jesse Hise has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hise looks to throw the jab but Deridder is out of range.

Deridder closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hise wants to get back to full guard but Deridder has mounted him!
Hise is wriggling around trying to escape.
Deridder avoids the attempt from Hise to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hise is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Deridder has control of Hise's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hise regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Deridder shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hise as he avoids it easily.

Hise closes the distance and clinches.

Hise gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Deridder avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Deridder had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hise is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Deridder Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hise's back instead.

Hise is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
