Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stelio Kontos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kontos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stelio. Bryant has chosen Kobe Bryant as his entrance music. Kobe Bryant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bryant tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kontos was well out of range. Poor timing from Bryant.

Bryant is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kontos to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kontos shrugs it off.

Bryant has control of Kontos's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kontos regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kontos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bryant on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bryant drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bryant seems to have locked his on tight now - Kontos screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bryant, as he picks up the win!
