Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Esko Takanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peregrin Broadfoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broadfoot is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Killed the Pirates. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadfoot on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Takanen. Takanen obviously looking to wear him down.
Broadfoot throws a hook but Takanen blocks it.
Takanen misses with a straight left.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Takanen, right into the meat.
Takanen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

It looks like Peregrin Broadfoot has been cut.

Takanen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Takanen throws out a loose jab but Broadfoot uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Broadfoot lands an impressive looking overhand right. Takanen doesn't seem phased though.

Broadfoot ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Broadfoot stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Takanen moves forwards but Broadfoot connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Broadfoot looks for a takedown but Takanen sprawls well.

Takanen forces Broadfoot back against the cage and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Takanen.
Broadfoot fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Takanen lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Takanen digs a right hand underneath Broadfoot's ribcage. Broadfoot let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Broadfoot wants to take the fight to the mat but Takanen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Takanen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Broadfoot gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Takanen.
Broadfoot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takanen was well out of range. Poor timing from Broadfoot.

Broadfoot rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Takanen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Broadfoot's knee momentarily.
Broadfoot shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That has opened up Peregrin Broadfoot's cut even more.
Takanen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Takanen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Broadfoot tries to keep at a distance but Takanen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Takanen lands with a right to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Broadfoot or perhaps it was just good defense by Takanen which made him look bad.

Takanen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Broadfoots head.

Takanen is pressed up against the cage. Broadfoot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Takanen down to the mat. Takanen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Takanen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Broadfoot can do to turn this around?

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Takanen, as that shot connected.

Takanen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Takanen flashes Broadfoot a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Broadfoot's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Broadfoot crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Takanen punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
