Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Von Matterhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmund Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Matterhorn comes into the arena with Disturbed-Animal blaring out of the sound system. Edmund Dantes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lorenzo Von Matterhorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edmund Dantes!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Matterhorn misses with a few strikes there.

Dantes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dantes lands in his opponent's guard.
Dantes passes into half guard.

Dantes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Von Matterhorn wants to control but Dantes is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Dantes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Dantes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Von Matterhorn defends it well.

Dantes takes Von Matterhorn's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Von Matterhorn is in trouble.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dantes goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Von Matterhorn escapes and is now in half guard on top.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lorenzo Von Matterhorn.
Well Dantes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
