Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Trikkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Amlet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Trikkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Amlet!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amlet feints and as Trikkle raises his hands in defense, Amlet changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Trikkle keeping moving, preventing Amlet from controlling successfully.
Amlet seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Trikkle wants to stand up but Amlet is controlling him.

Amlet drops back, looking for a kneebar! Trikkle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Trikkle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Trikkle!
Amlet tries to bench press Trikkle off him but Trikkle keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Amlet manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Amlet trying to control the action but Trikkle is working from the bottom.
Trikkle is trying to stand up here but Amlet is controlling him well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Amlet is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trikkle defends it well.

Amlet wants to work for an arm triangle but Trikkle is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Amlet is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Amlet is looking to advance position but Trikkle won't allow it.
Amlet wants to control but Trikkle is keeping him busy.

Amlet is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Trikkle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Amlet.

Amlet is trying to work for a kimura but Trikkle is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Amlet wants to control but Trikkle is keeping him busy.

Amlet is looking for a kimura but Trikkle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Amlet to get the leverage.
Amlet seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Trikkle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Amlet is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Trikkle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Amlet.
Amlet passes to full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Amlet has control of Trikkle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Trikkle regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Amlet swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Trikkle is now in Amlet's guard. A big mistake from Amlet there, giving up the dominant position!
Trikkle trying to stand up but can't free himself from Amlet's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimmy Amlet dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Trikkle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Amlet.
Amlet fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Trikkle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Trikkle.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Amlet.
Trikkle lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Amlet out cold! Amlet is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dick Trikkle!
