The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fear doesn't manage to clinch there - Dar circles away.
Dar has his takedown stuffed

and Fear counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fear.
Fear wants to stand but Dar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fear trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dar wants to stand but Fear is controlling the position.
Dar keeping moving, preventing Fear from controlling successfully.
Fear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fear is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fear trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fear trying to control but Dar is working from the bottom.
Dar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fear tries to free his leg and advance position but Dar is retaining full guard.
Dar is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dar clinches up with Fear and pushes him back against the cage.
Dar goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fear is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Fear is working for takedown but Dar is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dar tries to break the clinch but Fear is controlling the position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Dar is looking to break free of the clinch but Fear has double underhooks.
Dar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fear is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dil Dar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fear throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Dar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fear gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dar tries to stall but Fear uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Dar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fear after a bit of a struggle.
Dar is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fear pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dar is breathing heavily.
Dar fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dar is trying to pull guard but Fear has him pressed against the cage.
Dar tries to score a body lock takedown but Fear shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fear has picked Dar up - he's going for a ride! Fear dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Dar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fear is working away from the top position though.

Fear has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dar defend it? Fear steps over the head and cranks it - Dar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fear!
