Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sione Finau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theoran Fleury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finau comes to the cage accompanied by Ninja Gaiden. Fleury has chosen Oh Canada! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finau on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Sione Finau has been cut.
Finau misses with a body shot.
Fleury chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Finau can pounce on him.
Finau lunges at Fleury with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fleury's hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fleury misses with a head kick.
Finau misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Fleury counters with a straight right hand.
Finau dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fleury. That did some damage!
Finau lands with a cross.
Sione Finau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Fleury catches Finau right on the button with a cross.
Finau throws a hook to the side of Fleury's head but Fleury sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fleury throws a chopping leg kick but Finau manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Finau throws a low kick but Fleury moves out of range easily.
That kick from Finau tenderised Fleury's leg. Fleury is trying to keep his angry face on.
Finau misses with a low kick as Fleury jumps back.
Fleury connects with a solid leg kick.

Finau walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Finau tries to land a front kick but Fleury steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Finau throws a hook to the side of Fleury's head but Fleury sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Finau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fleury keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Fleury bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Finau.

Fleury is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Nice uppercut lands for Finau. That snapped Fleury's head back.
Finau fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fleury avoids it really well and circles away.
Finau cracks Fleury with a good jab.

Finau tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fleury was well out of range. Poor timing from Finau.

Fleury dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Finau. That did some damage!
Fleury swings for the body but Finau moves out of range.
Finau misses with a takedown attempt - Fleury sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fleury is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Finau had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Finau sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Donk. Fleury catches Finau right on the button with a cross.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fleury. Finau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Finau moves out of range of the body kick.
Finau stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fleury.
Finau has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fleury.
Fleury goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Jeez, Sione Finau's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

A less than humble Theoran Fleury misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
